Dana Kiesel, PhD

Program Chair, Past Chair

Clinical Psychologist

Dana Kiesel, Ph.D. has worked as a clinical psychologist in private practice for more than 20 years, seeing individuals, couples and adult families. She attended Connecticut College as an undergraduate, and CSPP-Alliant in Los Angeles for graduate school.

Dana has always enjoyed giving back to the community that she is a part of.  She has been involved with nonprofits since volunteering as a teenager, and serves on many boards today. In 2009, Dana joined the Board of Directors at Imagine LA; she has been a past chair and consistent executive committee member, and currently chairs the program committee. She has also been a volunteer mentor to families. Additionally, she is part of the Los Angeles County Psychological Association (LACPA), where she serves as board chair for the LACPA Foundation.

Dana was drawn to Imagine LA due to her passion for improving the state of homelessness in Los Angeles. She loves the fact that both the families and mentors are connected to a professional staff of social workers, who are exceptionally well versed in the world of homelessness and related services and resources. Dana is thrilled that families are able to lift up and become self sustaining through the Imagine LA mentorship model and is excited to be a part of this change.
