The Gray Family is sponsored by Bel Air Presbyterian Church. Once Ms. Gray had secured housing, she was reunited with her children, they had not been together as a family for years. Ms Gray began the Imagine LA program in November 2007. The Bel Air Team bonded quickly with the Gray Family and immediately began their mentorship roles. The eldest daughter recently graduated from high school with honors and is now attending El Camino College. The eldest son has also now graduated with honors and will be attending Sacramento State University in the fall. Both siblings are the first in the Gray Family to graduate from high school as well as attend college. Ms. Gray's youngest son is still in high school but has already begun planning for college. All of Ms. Gray's children have obtained employment for the summer and Ms. Gray has completed security guard training for which she will be working this summer. Ms. Gray had a history of drug and alcohol abuse and was in and out of treatment until she became part of an Imagine LA Family. However, Ms. Gray has maintained her sobriety now for 3 years.
