The Oliva Family is sponsored by Leo Baeck Temple.  Ms. Oliva has a 5 year old son who has completed Kindergarten and is currently getting ready his first experience at summer camp.  The Leo Baeck Team has helped Ms. Oliva and her son find a permanent, safe and furnished place to live and get involved with their community.  Ms. Oliva is learning how to manage her budget, complete her GED and obtain her drivers license.  Before coming to Imagine LA Ms. Oliva had faced many obstacles, she was a victim of domestic violence and battled an ongoing addiction with drugs and alcohol.  However, thanks to Imagine LA and her support team, Ms. Oliva is slowly overcoming these fears and has been in recovery for 3 years.
