Carols, Crafts & Cheer

To celebrate a year of hard work and ring in the holidays, we turned our office into a Winter Wonderland for our families and their mentors in December. The festivity was palpable!

Kids decorated stockings, cut paper snowflakes and made candy treat bags, while their parents collected wish list items and shopped in our staff-offices-turned-fabulous-boutiques. Santa paid a visit as did carolers assembled by Naarai Jacobs, and there were loads of edible goodies, of course.

We guesstimate there were about 100 party goers -- it was so much fun! HUGE thanks go to our partners and all the volunteers, particularly NGA Hancock Park, Beauty Board, LA Works, Kenny Hamilton, Baby2Baby, Charity Angels, Bobrick Washroom, Shelter Partnership, photographer Bill Devlin, all those who brought snacks and treats, and United Way. Thanks also to everyone who generously donated to our families' wish lists on Amazon, including staff at Cedars-Sinai, the families of Sally Flack and Brenda Fountain, and members of Vintage and Pac City churches. Your contributions brought wide smiles, as you can see!

Happy Holidays to all!
