Welcome New Imagine LA CEO TuLynn Smylie

Dear Imagine LA Family,  

As we approach the end of another amazing year, we are delighted to share two wonderful strategic announcements that allow Imagine LA to lean deeper into our mission and scale our impact to end the cycle of family poverty and homelessness. 

The first announcement is the addition of TuLynn Smylie as Imagine LA’s new Chief Executive Officer.  

TuLynn comes to us with more than twenty years of strong experience, most recently as Chief Program Officer of The People Concern, where she supervised eight of the agency’s major programs, including Interim Housing, K-9 Connections, Health and Wellness, Money Management services, and the agency’s Domestic Violence programs. She’s the perfect fit to oversee Imagine LA’s operations, staffing, programming and mobilization of community support toward our mission of ending the cycle of family poverty and homelessness. Please join us in welcoming TuLynn to her new role. 

The second announcement is the launch of a new sister organization, Social Benefit, co-founded by Jill Bauman, Imagine LA CEO Emeritus. Jill will lead Social Benefit and will be dedicated to the development and rollout of our innovative, online Social Benefit Navigator tool and related policy/systems change efforts. This new structure is a powerful evolution of the people-centered innovation that has always been at the heart of Imagine LA.
