Ciara Riley Wilson is a rising star who will next be seen in the highly-anticipated Netflix series“Freeridge,” the spinoff to the mega-successful dramedy “On My Block.” “Freeridge” follows a group of friends who may or may not have unleashed a deadly curse, starting a new adventure. Ciara stars as the lead role of empathic and spiritually connected ‘Demi,’ member of the new core-four.

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Ciara first began her career in the Pacific Northwest at the age of eight, appearing in a number of radio voiceover advertisements and local television commercials. The first of her family to pursue a career in entertainment, Ciara was scouted by an agency after participating in an acting camp in Los Angeles at the age of twelve. She got her start in television on Disney’s "Coop & Cami Ask the World" and “Bizaardvark” before landing a starring role in the live-action Disney Channel Original Movie "Kim Possible." She recurred in “L.A.’s Finest” with Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union and most recently, guest starred on the award-winning ABC drama “Grey’s Anatomy” and NBC’s “Quantum Leap.”

Outside of acting, Ciara is passionate about fashion design, and has taught herself to sew handcrafted pieces. Influenced by the 70s and sustainability, she has designed a number of pieces that feel both vintage and modern, all while using reclaimed materials. She documents her acting and fashion work on Instagram and Tiktok, both with the username @ciararileywilson. She looks forward to creating her own brand one day. When not busy working and designing, Ciara looks to writing poetry as a form of therapy. As a member of the queer community, she wants to give her time to queer based organizations focusing on BIPOC while simultaneously using her influence to be an advocate for the LGBTQ community. Of Filipino decent, Ciara currently resides in Los Angeles.
