Darrius serves as the Economic Mobility Program Senior Manager with Imagine LA. In this role, Darrius is responsible for supporting the sustainable long-term and scalable goals in the Economic Mobility Program (EMP), leading the Pathways to Living-Wage Careers program, and working directly with families in Imagine LA’s Partnership Model.

Darrius Joined imagine LA in 2022, driven by a passion for service and a strong desire to advocate, empower and provide access to equitable information and resources. He implements an empathetic, strength based and trauma-informed perspective to aid in developing substantial relationships with those pursuing personal and financial development. He strongly believes in the importance of building partnerships with stakeholders and community organizations to fully support our families. 

Before joining Imagine LA, Darrius worked 10+ years with several community, youth, and family non-profit organizations coordinating, managing, and leading education and workforce development programs/initiatives. He has extensive experience securing a network of living-wage career pathways in high growth industries.

Darrius earned his Bachelor’s degree in 2012 from California State University, Northridge in Pan-African Studies. He is an AmeriCorps public ally alumnus where he committed 1700 hours of National Service to improve the overall health of the communities. In this service, he delivered high quality, culturally competent care and related services within community-based organizations.

Darrius has strong ties to Los Angeles and is honored to support the community of families with Imagine LA as the city continues to grow, transform, and thrive.
