Kaelani Amputch-Curtis serves as the Development and Events Coordinator at Imagine LA. In her role, she works hand-in-hand with both the Development and Programming teams. Kaelani supports both the Director of Development and Individual Giving Manager in identifying strategic partnerships and collaborating on fundraising events. Informed by valuable programmatic insights, she coordinates five community engagement events annually that directly impact the families Imagine LA serves. 

Kaelani's journey with Imagine LA started in 2022 during her reign as Miss Culver City USA 2023. A passionate advocate of vulnerable populations, especially those who've experienced homelessness, domestic violence, and/or violent crime, she quickly became a volunteer of the community engagement events she now coordinates. Her dedication to Imagine LA's mission and the families we serve later lead to her involvement as a member of the Emerging Leaders Advisory Board; which she now co-leads with Jennifer Berry. As a volunteer, ELAB member, and now staff member Kaelani continues to pursue one goal - bringing joy to Imagine LA's families.

Before officially joining the Imagine LA team, Kaelani was a successful international event and brand marketer in the mobile app tech industry with over 25 events across Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, Austin, London, Berlin, Sao Paulo, and Singapore under her belt. After years of pursuing mission-driven work at for-profit companies, she's excited to have found an opportunity to merge her passion and profession into her role at Imagine LA
