Terrance Henson

Economic Mobility Program Assistant Manager


Terrance Henson serves as the Economic Mobility Program Assistant Manager with Imagine LA. In this role, Terrance works alongside Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) and Imagine LA families to build financial independence, skills, and resilience. 

Terrance joined Imagine LA in 2023, driven by his core value of service and alignment to the organizational mission; dedication to ending family poverty and homelessness.   

Terrance has spent his whole career in the service of others. Before joining Imagine LA, Terrance worked for 14 years in a diverse range of organizations, including Independent Living Centers for People with Disabilities, Molina Healthcare, and consulting for the California Department of Healthcare Services. His experience ranges from being a Disability Advocate (fighting for and defending the social safety net for seniors, families, and people with disabilities) to the corporate healthcare sector (implementing and overseeing federal policies for individuals on Medicare and Medi-Cal). Additionally, Terrance served on the Department of Social Services Personal Assistance Service Council Governing Board.

In his free time, Terrance volunteers at his parish's Holy Family Service Center and teaches religious education for 2nd and 3rd graders.
