Pride 2022 Resources

Happy Pride! In a world where being part of the LGBT+ community still isn’t fully accepted, it’s important to show and express pride in the face of adversity and discrimination. After fighting for so long for equality and equity, despite all the progress that has been made, the work is not done.

LGBTQ+ youth are more than twice as likely to experience homelessness than the general population. LGBTQ+ youth make up 7% of the young population, but 40% of unhoused youth. Black LGBT+ youth, particularly young men, experience the highest rates of homelessness.

We can always do better as people and as a community. Below are resources for everyone to help further along education and discussion. May this Month be full of love, joy, and pride.
