Resilience
Imagine LA program participants are loving, tenacious, compassionate, and work hard every day to build a better future for themselves and their children. Families live across Los Angeles County in homes and apartments, primarily in South LA, Mid-City, the San Fernando Valley, and West LA. In 2020, 86% of Imagine LA families were headed by mothers without a partner. 86% of families identify as Black, Indigenous and People of Color. Most families have 2-3 children.
With Imagine LA, families access opportunity. Through caring case management, economic mobility programming, mentorship, and family fun, they build relationships and confidence for long-term success. When you meet our current and Alumni Families, you’ll know them by their confidence, determination, and self-advocacy skills.
