Welcome Diego Torres Palma to our Board!

Having grown up in a single-mother household and learned some of life’s most important lessons from his mentors at Big Brothers Big Sisters, Diego understands the importance of mentorship. “I was introduced to freshwater fishing, baseball, and a honey sandwich on wheat bread (a novelty to my nine-year-old self), all while forming a connection with and learning from a role model that was from a completely different way of life, background, and culture from my own.”

Diego received his MBA from Boston University and began his first start-up in 2010. After finding success with his first business, he continued to build new ones and invest in others. But Diego is also eager to invest in the community and help others the way he was helped growing up. Imagine LA’s mission and program spoke to him and his goals.

“As a board member, I will be proud to serve as an instrument for change and as a dedicated servant to those seeking economic stability and the promise of a better future.”

You can explore his ventures here.

Thank you, Diego, for your commitment to bettering Los Angeles and welcome aboard!
