John Terzian

Nightlife Entrepreneur - Founding Partner, The h.wood Group

A Southern California native and graduate of USC and Pepperdine Law School, John Terzian brings a wealth of experience to any endeavor. With a plethora of close-knit entertainment industry relationships, he has an extensive network stemming from his professional background and entrepreneurial affairs. As the owner and co-founder of The h.wood Group, John oversees an expansive slate of nightlife, food, and entertainment properties.

John started his career with AMLV management, where he managed nightlife luminaries and launched the careers of musical entities including DJ AM and DJ Steve Aoki. At the ultra-hip LAX nightclub in Hollywood, John, as chief operating officer, redefined nightlife with his signature branding. In 2008, he partnered with Brian Toll and Markus Molinari in launching their debut venue, h.wood nightclub. Heralded for its originality and the energy of the space, h.wood was branded in a league of its own. Thus, The h.wood Group was formed on the laurels of a successful collaborative enterprise.

Philanthropy also plays an active role in John’s life, as he serves on a number of community boards in addition to Imagine LA’s. As a board member for Give Love with Patricia Arquette and Rosetta Getty, he aids in the development of temporary housing solutions and sanitation systems in Haiti.

As part of Imagine LA, John has lent his talents and connections by creating and spearheading Imagine Ball for eight years. He noted, “I focus on giving my time, money, and guidance as well as any connections. I do whatever I can.”
