Meet Sara Ford Oades, Community Engagement Intern

Sara Ford Oades joined Imagine LA in February as our newest Community Engagement Intern.

In March 2020, Sara graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a Bachelors of Arts in Environmental Studies. They're passionate about creating a sustainable and equitable future for all people, acknowledging that marginalized communities are the first to be affected by climate change.

As someone whose family was at risk for homelessness in the past, aiding families going through tough times is close to Sara's heart. They're excited to take the skills they learn at Imagine LA and apply them to a career in non-profit climate and environmental policy solutions.

In their free time, you'll catch Sara spending their time with family and friends. They love anything creative and outdoors, such as painting, cooking, and camping.
